Crossover Golf at Marin Fashion Night

Crossover Golf luxury women's golfwear on the Marin Fashion Night 2026 runway in Ross, California

On October 3, 2026, Crossover Golf brought a distinctly fashion-house perspective to Marin Fashion Night at the Marin Art & Garden Center in Ross, California. For founder and creative director Melanie Friedman, the runway was an opportunity to show what luxury women's golfwear can look like when couture training informs everyday performance clothing.

Designed and made in California, Crossover reimagines traditional women's golf apparel through precise tailoring, understated silhouettes and technical textiles. The result is a wardrobe that moves from the golf course to lunch, the clubhouse and dinner without requiring a change of clothes.

Luxury women's golfwear with a couture point of view

Crossover's approach starts with silhouette. The collection pairs flattering golf skorts, tailored trousers, refined polos and sculptural outerwear with the comfort expected of performance apparel. Considered seams, confident proportions and minimal branding distinguish the designs from conventional activewear.

Friedman's background in womenswear at Central Saint Martins and Parsons shapes every design decision. That influence is visible in the Ace Asymmetric Skort's unexpected lines, the polish of the New Classic Polo and the architectural ease of Crossover's layering pieces. These are clothes created to be worn repeatedly, on and off the course.

Japanese technical fabrics, California craftsmanship

Fabric selection is central to the collection. Japanese technical twill gives tailored pieces a refined hand with surprising stretch and easy care. Crisp Japanese paper nylon adds a modern finish to select outerwear and fitted styles, while the butter-soft micromodal polo offers an elevated alternative to conventional athletic knits.

Making Crossover in California allows the brand to stay closely involved with the fit, construction and finishing of each silhouette. The emphasis is not on louder logos or fleeting trends, but on the details that make a piece feel exceptional every time it is worn.

From the runway to the fairway

Marin Fashion Night made Crossover's design philosophy visible in a new setting. What reads as refined, modern fashion on a runway remains practical for golf: thoughtfully chosen fabrics, ease of movement and silhouettes that work beyond the final hole.
